I have mixed feelings about this game. On one hand it is still the real Sam Fisher and you can tell he's been through so much, but at the same time the gameplay is completely aggressive and un-splinter cell like in the traditional sense. This is not necessarily bad, but it definitely deviates way too much from the original games. Michael Ironside's Sam Fisher is what keeps you in the game though which is why I still enjoy it. I am also mixed about Blacklist. If it was a standalone game without the character of Sam Fisher, then I think it would be fantastic. However, the fact that it is Sam but not really Sam, made that game a marketing failure. We all want Michael Ironside.

My experience with these games can be summed up with this song, started out sweet, then thrown out the window when shit hit the fan, I've only played Chaos Theory and Conviction (currently doing a LP on the latter, which I preferred anyway)

This game was a nice fresh of breath air to the SC series. I for one knew what was coming and welcome the changes they made. If they kept the same formula over and over again eventually it would be tiring. For me at least. This game still felt like a stealth game especially on realistic. Ubisoft took a different direction with the aspect of a predator. Predators still use stealth tactics,but in a deeper darker mood. Great game and Blacklist is no exception. Just my personal opinion.
