-Band: Spineshank

-Song: Stovebolt

-Album: Strictly Diesel

-Year: 1998

-Lyrics:

Untie me, this peace of mind can't let go

Beside me, the finer things start to show

Divide me into your life

Beat it down and it's lying on the floor

Feel until you're suffering

It's all for real and still you're suffering

I loved you, an inconvenience to me

I warned you because my world you can't see

Adored you, that's what you think

I beat you down and you're lying on the floor

Feel until you're suffering

It's all for real and still you're suffering

It's all for you

Feel until you're suffering

It's all for real and still you're suffering

@pissantparade I never heard of Acacia Strain until just now. I have completely lost touch with metal as a genre as I mainly listen to electronic music these days. That 'Whoa, Shut it down' song is a good tune and is pretty fucking hardcore. It's on a whole different level to Spineshank and to be honest it's not really my cup of tea. Can't see me getting back into the metal currently being made unfortunately. Don't get me wrong, I still appreciate a banging tune when I hear one.

@HardTekBen If you miss truly violent music, you haven't been paying enough attention. Go listen to The Dillinger Escape Plan (Panasonic Youth or Fix Your Face are both great places to start), and maybe some Acacia Strain (the song Woah, Shut It Down makes me want to injure absolutely everyone.)

@Idkfawin32 Tell me about it. My teenage years were spent skateboarding and listening to Nu metal. Ahhhh, to be young again. Oh well, I guess I'm destined to getting old and listening to electronic music for the rest of my life.

Top tune. Massively underrated album in terms of the short lived Nu Metal genre that was subsequently murdered by the likes of emo faggot bands such as 'My Chemical Romance' and 'The Rasmus' God I miss truly violent music like this, and it is why I have turned my attention to the filthier side of electronic music. Check my channel for a few samples ;) [shameless plug]
