This is rubbish spencer is not a singer struggle to make the notes and was out of tune, I don't care who it is when a top band lose their singer then for me that's the end of the band, when you buy a record you buy because of the singing not because of the instruments, nothing worse than going to see a band you loved years ago and find all that's left is the drummer or guitarist give up boys because you are truly rubbish

Spencer always looked like a twat. Stevie Wiwood was the soul and image of this band.

Ouch kevlength! Admittedly they do sound a bit ropey but I doubt whether the 'Manfreds' would put on a better show than even this line- up. Manfred Mann were pretty poor interpreters of the blues- even in '64, but to be fair, they could play a little modern jazz. Look at early SDG to see how excellent they were. Even Davis himself could turn in a fine vocal and was an excellent harp player. I recommend the live version of 'Gimme Some Lovin'.

This song was written by a Jamaican Name Jackie Edwards for Producer Chis Blackwell that gave the world Bob Marley. Also chk out "Someone Help Me" by the same Jamaican writter.... Both songs were number one UK hits for this Group.

It's nice that Spencer is keeping the music alive. No lineup could never match the original but that is true with every great old band.
