Say what you will about Corgan...I'll probably agree, complimentary or not. But one thing is for certain-this album, with the exception of disarm (which I loath) is pretty damn good. I first bought it in 94 and it has remained classic listening material to this day.

Delicate and strong. Before the Pumpkins it was unheard of to "me" for a man to be so flexible between male and female stereotyped roles. Soma is single handedly the most powerful song that I can muster up or recall from my childhood and well extending into my adulthood. Siamese Dream, to me, stated that you can be emotional and still sharp as a razor. Soma = best song on album, best song, albeit in the shadows of the 90's.
