Tom waits and kathleen Brennan wrote this and Tom performs this with the true feeling it was written with, as he does with every song he sings. I think this version is beautiful but disagree that its better, i suspect that your not a fan of his voice and prefer a pure, perfect pitch rather than the raw, emotional sound of Tom.
