Covering 5 tracks from the hotly anticipated "Anjunadeep 05" compilation mixed by Jody Wisternoff and James Grant, this sampler features exclusive material from UK house duo Dusky, Andrew Bayer & James Grant, the much-loved Solarity and rising star Universal Solution.

Opening things up is Andrew Bayer & James Grant's uniquely deep take on "It's Cool" by Australian indie-electronic act The Presets - taken from last year's gold selling album "Pacifica". Stripping things back entirely, Bayer and Grant reconstruct the original into a moody, hypnotic vocal deep house epic - complete with stirring pianos.

Responsible for some of the biggest deep house tracks of the past 18 months in "Flo Jam" and "Nobody Else", London duo Dusky return to the label that released their debut album "Stick By This" with the atmospheric "Mr Man". Already a favourite of Sasha among others, "Mr Man" sees Dusky take a more measured approach with deep, brooding bass grooves, hypnotic textures and a classy piano refrain.

Andrew Bayer & James Grant team up again for the brilliant "Living". Soaked in lazy groove and percussive fills, "Living" is a deep, melodic house gem that unravels beautifully and climaxes on a washing, emotion-loaded breakdown.

Hotly tipped talent Gavin Holland aka Universal Solution then contributes with the spacey and epic "Osheen". A great introduction to the label, "Osheen" blends a dark, growling bassline with LTJ Bukem-esque soundscapes to create a perfect Anjunadeep alchemy.

Completing the package is the blissed-out ambient electronica of Solarity's "Symbols", who make a much-anticipated return to the label.

This track feels inspired by the intro to "Where The Streets Have No Name" by U2. Not a criticism, the similarity just strikes me.

anyone else find this kind of melodic progressive house more enjoyable than the new "deep house" tracks that anjuna been releaseing so far? because this style does it all for me. This brought me to anjunadeep, I remember getting Deep 01 mixed by A&B just because of tracks like this...From the likes of Paul Keeley and so on. I want this style back. please :/

Thought I'd show some 3 for Solarity. Some fav. tracks: "Longwayupdown" track name = describes the music. Solarity's remix of Boom Jinx & Andrew Bayer's "By All Means" on Deep03 - it's just a fantastic track remix, incredibly moving and well-produced! "Apricots" is chill & simple, yet effective. "DNA" an old favorite. "Terminal 6" a classic. "Corvette" delivers. "Tapeback" is pure style poured over a sweet beat. And "Symbols" uplifts and inspires ike some Bayer track but w/ the Solarity flavor.

I was kinda looking forward to the new Solarity track to be more on the high energy side that they have made, ie "Terminal 6", "Long 41", "DNA" style. This track is beautiful though!

And people say Anjunadeep is no longer putting out the deep, blissed out and uplifting stuff from yesteryears. Others have also said the label isn't putting out modern sounding music but only trying to please the old school fans. These opinions which I read a few months ago were wrong then. Solarity has proved them wrong with this track. Deep01-04 defined my summers. Curious to see what Jody's going to bring to Deep05. All are masteful but I think Deep03 is my fav. release.
