That sucks! I posted a comment regarding this song and not sure if the update for YouTube cleared my comment or someone had it deleted, but it wasn't anything offensive, I was actually saying how when I first heard this song it was the remix by Cyril Hahn which made her voice sound as if it were " Screwed and Stratched " and didn't realize it is Solange until I took a look and immediately added it to my " Chill Music " files in my phone. But at this time it was very difficult to listen to because my ninety year old grandmother was LOSING her battle with life and all I could do is cry thinking eventually I'll be "LOSING HER FOR GOOD " and I couldn't bring myself to that reality, though it's inevitable for all of us. I couldn't help calling her archaic phone number knowing it had already been disconnected, but I knew within my heart and soul my granny would answer only to hear the disconnect message in return after her departure. Unfortunately Jan. 22, 2015; I made the mistake in my initial posting with the date of February 22,2015, my family and I "LOST HER FOR GOOD". I recently found the original version courtesy of YouTube and it's even better than the remix I heard! Though it's still hard to listen to, I've taken a more vehemence approach because crying is healing and healing equals progress, so now I'm able to grieve , sing along with, and think of my grandmother in an alternate form while listening to this song. Thanks Solange for being you and most of all giving us a song to connect with regardless of our situation at hand . Blessings.

This song is so difficult for me to listen to considering when I heard the remix by Cyril Hahn, I was losing my ninety year old grandmother, I also didn't realize this is Solange considering the remix made her voice sound as if it were " Screwed and Stratched ", but I automatically added this to my "Chill Music " files in my phone. Unfortunately on February 22,2015, I "LOST MY GRANNY FOR GOOD " and every time I listen to this song I lose it! The one person I'd love to converse with is no longer with me and I found myself calling her archaic phone number knowing it had been disconnected, but in my heart and soul I knew my granny would answer, but instead I received the disconnect message. I recently found the original track and video courtesy of YouTube and I lost it crying. This song has so much emotion and though it's hard to listen to, I forced myself because grieving is healing. So thanks Solange for such a beautiful song that I now can listen to, sing along with, grieve, and most of all, reminds me of the matriarch that I recently lost. Hopefully she'll come to Vegas for a performance because I'm there!

I don't think there's any point on comparing her and her sister. They're clearly different; She's really neo soulful and Beyoncé is more R&B type/pop type. There's nothing wrong with that. They're both amazing at what they do. Solange writes a lot and even wrote songs for Beyoncé

keep in mind everything she does is to distance herself from her sister. im sure if she was an only child she would be making the kind of music beyonce makes
