@Sic7777 This is very true. I hope this inspires people to stop hiding behind facades and embrace who we are as humans. Not one of us is perfect, and perfect is quite subjective. She has set her own standards, and we have much to learn from her work as a whole. Here in USA, many live in this bubble of what is the norm and the arts have suffered greatly as a result. I wish more would broaden their horizons and realize that true art is the catharsis of one's soul, not what pleases the masses

@PontiPilati cont... I sincerely hope that these experiences are the artist's own creation as that hole is quite deep, and I would not wish that on anyone. Looks can be deceiving, especially when it comes to art. Some of her work could be interpreted as social statements, although she does not touch upon her inspirations in interviews I have seen. That is the beauty of art to everyone it means something different. Should she be troubled I am glad she has an outlet instead of hiding as many do

@PontiPilati I have seen her, and while this may be the case we all have demons we must fight; even those who stand in the light must cast a shadow, and this music should not be stereotyped as being synonymous w/ disordered personalities. She lived a childhood much different from the "status-quo" raised on a pig farm i believe and playing up to 12hrs a day. This isolation alone allows for her eccentricity. Her smile still retains a childlike innocence, yet she is artistically much more mature.
