@7jimmyjames your right he did bring grunge to the masses but in my opinion nirvana was the fourth best band in seattle at the time but they got all the publicity. alice in chains, soundgarden, and pearl jam were all superior bands but marketing and then cobains suicide put them in the public eye. I just hated all the kids who had the RIP posters and wore the T-shirts crying oh curt oh curt while lynn gets no love. Lynns death=tragedy. Cobains death=a quitter giving up

Its one thing if you don't like his music but the man did have a lot of fucking talent and pretty much brought grunge worldwide so I would say he wasen't a douche
