Thinking about giving some sort of song of the day thing a go. So...here's my first.I only recently discovered the Smoking Popes. I have no idea how I managed to miss them completely for so long, but I've had their entire studio discography on repeat for the last few days. If I had to describe them in one sentence, I'd go with "Alkaline Trio covering the Grease soundtrack", which is pretty much an instant win for me.Here's a particular favourite of mine. One of that wonderful lyrical subgenre "songs that compare love to being ill". Nice harmonies on the chorus, smart lyrics, and hooks the size of...really big hooks.#songoftheday
