It's really a beautiful song and i never gave it the time of day when it was released because of the horrible harpsichord that was on the Teargarden version. I really wish he had have just backed himself to release a stripped back version like this one.

I've been a fan of The Smashing Pumpkins sense I was eleven years old, and have listened to ever album, b-side, and demo The Smashing Pumpkins have ever made. Fans of The Smashing Pumpkins have always bitched about something on another. I love Teargarden By Kaleidescope.

@ExclaimedMusic Same here, I did not dig the keys/harpsichord in the recorded version. After hearing this tune acoustic I'm left wishing he took more of an "American Gothic" approach.

I don't think this version works as well as the studio version. The drums and guitar effects is why I loved the recorded version. This being on acoustic only, doesn't carry the dynamics of the song.
