Takes me back - me front too. Being in the army stationed in Germany, a visit to England and I heard" Itchycoo Park" and I wondered, "What's this?!" Sure wasn't "Rock Around the Clock" but it was fun and with a little special smoke it all made a far out sense. Then back home somebody got Ogden's Nut Gone Flake and I had to have it - still do. Now-a-days my fave tune from that LP is "Rene" with the only guitar bit that ever sounded like a raucous good roll in the hay.9 years ago

Any young kids out there thinking of going on the X factor should be made to watch this. Exactly what a band should be, four mates playing their instruments, performing a song they've written themselves and having FUN. No need to suck Cowell's dick, learn to play an instrument and keep your integrity. The faces may not be as rich as 1D (retch) but they can hold their head higher than any of those gimps and say I was real, you're a cock sucking prostitute gimp slag.9 years ago

This has been one of my top 2 albums of all time, along with The Yardbirds (aka Roger The Engineer) since I was a teenager and now I'm 60. What they have in common is they were both at that transitional stage between mod/rock/britpop/R&B and Psychedelia. Exciting times when music was in a state of flux and far less predictable. So hard to choose between the greatest voice (Marriott) and his interaction with Lane (for the Small Faces) and the absolute mastery of the guitar (Jeff Beck for the Yardbirds). I remember one day I played one of my mix cds while ferrying my dad to the car dealership one day...the first four songs were this one, All Or Nothing, Itchycoo Park, and Every Little Bit Hurts. He refused to believe they were all performed by the same band after they had finished up, they were so versatile, especially Steve's vocals. He and Ronnie should still be here.9 years ago
