Funny thing about this Joint D'Angelo and Dilla got together to do a song and couldn't come up with nothing. Even though this sounds like a well constructed song. Dilla actually chopped up pieces from the session and made the song later. When D'Angelo. Heard it he was shocked. Now they may have went back and did something after but that's what made Dilla so dope he had a different approach on the music.

Man, I really just want to go to a party where only this type of music is played alone. Why do I have to transport myself back in time to hear music like this :(

Classic D'angelo keyboard work. Coming off with that Brown Sugar style.

before any of you, peeps call that a negative comment, don't. I'm 41. I've been around for a longish time. I remember Dilla's rise. . much respect to this era.

D'angelo played the FULL keys and the bass lines. It's wierd. Some people can't accept that Dilla didn't produce every thing on the history of this earth. He was a great collaborator too. He also had influences. He also allowed people to make shit for him.

Not possible. If a person doesn't know SV then they aren't really a fan of hip hop....probably just a youngsta followin' trends or some teenie following next skinny MC with his shirt off. I think to know Dilla's complete catalog?...that might be a much to ask of anyone.
