Sick cover man. Helped me a lot learning the "I am the damaged one" part. Been trying to figure it out for weeks now.

dude ur guitar looks like its fake cuz it looks so big. btw i have a question: why do a lot of guitarists shake their head "no" while they are playing simple riffs and they shake their head like it is the hardest riff in the world?

well anyone's hand would go number after 3 hours without rest. Especially playing something like slipknot. Your fingers are just like working out anything else. You would do benchpress for three hours without any rest. You're fingers are the same thing, they have muscles that can fatigue blah blah blah. Even after a two hour show most artist's are pretty worked and they have the occasional 3-4 minute rest during a show. You need to warm up and take breaks.

I've never had my fingers go numb. Are you resting your rest or part of your hand on the bridge too much? When I first started playing my forearm would go numb cause I rested it on the back of the guitar too much. Is it on your fret hand or pick hand?

Well my arm is thick as well but size of the arm does not effect your playing style my fingers are blunt and huge but i can play notes very accurate but my fingers get numb alot any advices ?

I guess if you're worried about that. My arm is the size of most people's thigh so not usually a concern with me. I make Mick look small...lol. So being that way I any movement I make not only looks big but 'is big' by default. HaHa...lol I know what you're saying though. I have tried to play this and MoP using all downstrokes it is definitely a burner! A goodworkout is AX7 stuff played with all downstrokes...not quite Slipknot but a good little downstroke session

well doing fast stuff with down picking rewards more and your arm gets stronger faster and more accurate thats why plus when your arm burns thats a sign of progress

Yes that's true which is why when chugging or something I will start and end on a down stroke or when it's slow I will use all downstrokes but for the fast stuff, there's no sense and make my arm burn. Plus I never remember going to a "Knot" concert and saying "Wow that Mick uses a lot of down strokes!! Just saying. If you're in a chair yes it might help visually otherwise it's kinda like guys talking about how big their "jimmy" ....it's pointless..
