I'm always Shazaming songs from Grey's Anatomy, and if you'd look at the songs I've looked up from that show, it would probably all be from Sleeping At Last. I bet one of his songs is in almost every episode. Most of the time I know it's him singing, though, because he has such a beautiful and unique voice. I love it!!! ❤️

Sometimes I wonder what it takes to write songs like these. How brave you must be to write this all down, how strong and raw your soul must be to feel all these feelings and emotions, how genius you must be to find the right tunes to express all these beautiful, amazing and painful things... These kind of people scare me because they could change the whole world and yet they "only" write songs that not even known by anyone and even less people dare to find out their meanings because when you listen, these songs are all about you. I don't understand how it works but it's almost unbelievable. It doesn't matter if the songs seems to talk about war, loneliness, being in love or being sick, to find or to lose something, between the lines, if you listen, you know that this is about him, and about you and about me. I'm not a sentimental kind but the music of Sleeping at last always makes me feel pure but incredibly sad at the same time, and I often find myself crying for no reason. His songs always feel like they are goodbyes. It'll sound a little morbid but if I could choose the music for the moments of my death, I would choose the songs of Sleeping at last. If I could listen his song in the last moments, I wouldn't die happily but that would be a perfect closure, you know. I'll always be grateful for artists like him.
