Moreover, even those who commit capital crimes five may be reborn in the human or heavenly world fight these enemies. The king Sen'yo destroyed five hundred enemies of the Lotus Sutra; and King Possessor of Virtue defeated countless enemies of this teaching. For this reason, they have become the Buddha Shakyamuni in this present world. Many disciples of this, as Mahakashyapa, Ananda, Shariputra, Maudgalyayana and countless other followers were people who, in times past fought at the forefront, defeated, wounded and killed enemies, showing joy in fighting them. The monk Realization of Virtue became the Buddha Kashyapa. He was a devotee of the Lotus Sutra possessed of great compassion who, at the time, cried the King Possessor of Virtue to attack the enemies of the sutra as if they had betrayed his parents in a previous existence. Nowadays correspond to that time. If the ruler of our nation had accepted the words of Nichiren, might well have become equal to the two kings. However, besides rejecting me, SIDED with the enemies of the Lotus Sutra; thus, the whole nation came to attack me. The sovereign ordinary people, all became slanderers of the Law, whose shares exceed the capital crimes. For this reason, all of you are also in favor of the sovereign.
