Metallica was also greatly influenced by Venom, I think Venom started that kind of thing. But yeah I think slayer is much better than Venom, but I would also say that Venom were even more satanic than Slayer.11 years ago

In their early days, the guys in Slayer were heavily influenced by Venom, so I have to agree with you on that one. Even their later stuff has that bit of a Venom-like sound, but the biggest difference I notice is that Venom plays their music a bit sloppy at times and with Slayer their music is all about precision.11 years ago
