For a change, I decided to record an instrumental cover version of one of my favorite songs. As far as I know, the original arrangement was done on a Fairlight CMI. As I don't have the CMI or any type of sampler, I tried to recreate the parts on various synthesizers, most of them feature sample-based sounds. During the recording process, I altered some parts so don't be surprised if it doesn't sound exactly like the original song...nobody can match the awesome keyboard arrangement made by David Gamson. ;)

This is so good. For many many years I always wondered how David Gamson did this with Fred Maher & Green. I never thought I would see how it was done. I realize the equipment was different. The intro is perfect as are all the sounds and playing. The break at 54 seconds, 1:41 and 3:20 is gorgeous. The 3:05 to 3:18 bit was there. I think in the orig was Green's voice with a vocoder.
