This song brings tears to my eyes... The girl of my dreams who i've went through hell and back for and known for 10 years of my life cut her ties with me to go and be with someone else.... it eats away at me still to this day and i keep thinking if I wasn't good enough or if that was the best i ever was for this amazing individual... i think of her all the time sadly, and its still one thing i'm struggling to get over, and i'm haunted by losing her.

That's probably the saddest thing I ever heard..:( I'm so sorry for you, but you should think they would want the best for you, and to be happy, I know it's hard but you should continue your life and try be happy, cherish the memories with her and try move forward :( Everyone lost their loed ones at some point, you are not alone.

this song makes me think of my girlfriend who passed away month and a half ago from cancer. i dont think ill ever truely move on and many times ill sing this song hoping she can hear me, i cant say ive ever finished the song cus it mostly results in tears. i just wish i could have her back :/

5 years ago my childhood friend and i became lovers. this was our favorite song. we always sang this song together and we were always together. but... she was taken from me in a freak accident on her way over to my house and i couldn't save her in time. her and my unborn child were lost in my arms... that was the best i ever was and i'll never be able to get it back. i've never recovered from it and i've never been able to love as strong as i did with her...

@snwdreams I know how you feel. To have the person you love more than the world slip right through your fingers... When nothing you say can change their mind... I was there. I lost her and thought I would never see her again. For almost 25 years I tried to put her behind me. I prayed for God to take the feelings I had for her away... Then after all that time, a miracle! We found each other on-line and discovered that neither of ever really moved on. We have been married 2 years now.
