Why does the guitar effect sound so bad live compared to the recorded version? I know the recorded version is in a higher key, but they should at least try and match the guitar tone. 10 years ago

Thats not auto tune. Its an echo effect mixed with an effect called "chorus", he uses it alot on songs. It's always used on vocal effects if you're trying to get a big grand sound effect.11 years ago
