Their best album and one of the first "old school" death metal albums I really got into. The blast sections here are still some of the best. I like how that while it's repetitive, it's less due to bad songwriting and more for the purpose of creating a particularly inundating, hypnotic mood or "atmosphere".11 years ago

Picked this one up when released, wore it out...Years later, come youtube and the Catacombs of Metal!!!!!!!!! Very tight outfit! Sinister developed their tone and songwriting ethic with this album, whereas earlier work was more raw energy. Though, here they seemed to have grasped some elements ethereal. The songs can be approached from different angles. This was always a study for me..11 years ago
