i was supposed to be the keyboard player on this track way back in 1982 but i fell out with Pete Townsend's manager best experience of it was playing pin ball wizard to simons brother and having him in turn play his brothers behind blue eyes back to me

I actually prefer his original 1983 recording of it, which is available elsewhere on YouTube. I understand that he only re-recorded in this rockier, grungier version because Polydor refused to let him license the rights to release his 1983 album on CD.
