This song perfectly and poetically describes my life. Kudos, Paul Simon!

Someone out there has noted that the majority of the entries on the main survey, the supplemental survey, the supplemental supplemental survey, and the auxiliary survey are from white male performers. But, you see, that brands the accuser as a Racist and a Misogynist. Since it is my survey, I can do as I please. Why, I've had songs sung by cartoon animals on the chart (# 3400, # 2989, # 2956, # 2811, and # 2800). I do not hear the National Wildlife Association complaining that too few songs are sung by animals (of course the same cartoon animals sang all five of those songs). No one popped up to say that there are too many songs sung in English. Which is fine as the surveys contain several songs sung in French, German, and Italian to this point. Now that is diversity. Here is diversity at # 3199. From Simon and Garfunkel. One of those parable style soft folk rock sounds, here is "Flowers Never Bend with the Rainfall".

Does bring me back to Kindergarten when it came out, strange since I can't remember it from then, but it was when the world made a different kind of sense. And had a different kind of sound.

Thanks for posting. Great song, except for those goofy final notes.

It's not just lyrics. No, this is poetry put to matching music.

I hear this, and I'm ten years old again, and getting my first understanding of mortality, and how we deny it.

For sure an overlooked song that I've come to relate in many ways. Kind of a definitive track for me.
