it's spelled correctly, i literally have the 1965 record sleeve here and it's spelled "angie." the track on "sounds of silence" is spelled this way.

This is an awesome song whether it be Davy Graham or Paul Simon performing it.

It's "Anji", but it's weird that you misspelled it as my first name. xD

This proves that Paul Simon was, in addition to his other talents, a very good acoustic guitar player. In my opinion, this tune is flamenco music. Every true guitar player has a bit of gipsy soul. That was wholly true of Paul Simon.

Davy Grahams version is the best that I've heard

as much as I like bert jansch's and other good versions of the piece, this has always been my favourite version since the mid 60's, as his pauses and guitar tones and dynamics are so good, even the last few seconds, and the humourous key change

Good but inferior to Bert Janschs version

nah, the sound would actually be way more distinct. those mics can pick up anything. it wouldn't sound that bright

when Davy played Anji he could reference Mingus,Adderley,Oud players etc.Simon references the Ventures

Anji, actually - and look it up as the original, because it has not been bettered (although the late Hamlish Imlach was unbelievably good - you can find this link as well) shows what British musicians have left us.

I really wanna see what this would sound like playing this on a keyboard, like organ or harpsichord.
