The brunette in the video really looks like an old friend of mine that I let go of 3 years ago. It's her eyes. I wasn't in a happy place in my life and I wasn't the friend she needed me to be. Unknowingly and unvoluntarily we had developed feelings for each other. There's just no one that ever got me like she did. Now she won't return my calls nor my messages after all this time..only now that she's long gone have I realized what I've lost and how much I miss her...but perhaps I'm just too little too late. Still, thinking that in my life I've come across a person that got me like she did, and knowing that she exists in this world, makes me happy.

I think they are actually 2 different versions of her. One rebellious and one more simple. Like seriously near the end, you see the rebel chick look at the camera without glasses and they look exactly the same. Maybe they just used the love story to help it mean more. Just my two cents.

Silversun Pickups are so amazing and so underrated. This song is so amazing. It's my favourite song of theirs. The video is has a good story as well. You can defiantly relax to this music.
