The song was actually written about a TV show that lead singer, Daniel Johns, watched while in school where a poor man took a rich man to live in the slums with him. The rich man couldn't stand it and demanded to leave, but was told he had to "wait until tomorrow." Agreed about the fact that this is a great song though
