Não sei nada da sexualidade do Daniel, mas quando eles lançaram esse álbum eu achei agayzado, porém depois de ver muitas entrevistas e o histórico do Daniel eu entendi a mudança drástica... passando por problemas de saúde que o levaram quase à morte o fez ver a vida de maneira mais alegre e colorida, o que faz ser confundido com "gay".. tudo isso só me fez sentir ainda mais admiração, pois eu tbm tenho uma doença autoimune que quase destruiu minhas forças e sonhos, entendo bem a fase feliz dele.

imagino que o lado 'gay' do negocio seja pra provocar quem não gosta, tem preconceito, etc; afastar da banda pessoas que, digamos, seguem o senso comum(que é homofóbico), e tbém quebrar paradigmas de macho, sabe? É um jeito de mudar a cabeça dos fãs e evoluir musicalmente. É um lado punk/ativisa que sempre esteve presente no Silverchair. É uma boa tática pro pessoal da banda afastar fãs que eles não se identificariam Ou talvez seja só o lado artístico e criativo p/ qual a cabeça deles tá andando

It's funny looking back on Silverchair's trajectory from grunge band to this. I love the last album Young Modern and I think it's their best. Anyone can throw together a grunge album, their last two albums were much more creative if a little more commercial.
