I think some people are missing the point behind having the screams/shouts with the cleans. The contrast is fucking insane, I don't think the melodic cleans would have the exact same effect is they weren't complimented with Joel's vocals. That's why the cleans grab your attention so dramatically

I don't listen to that many post hardcore bands, but every now and then I,ll stumble across one that has a very meaningful and well constructed track. I may not like anything else from the band, but when I find that one track that sticks out to me, it shows that they have enough talent to create something very meaningful and personal. This is perfect example of what I am saying. Don't really like anything else that they've done, but I respect them as artists and if they have enough talent to create a masterpiece like this, it shows that they could do more with their talent. Whether you like it or not, thats your choice, but I really like this track and I hold this very dear to me because of how meaningful the lyrics are to me. Just a word for the open minded.

I can't relate to all you goons who are looking for only cleans in a deathcore/post-hardcore/metalcore setting,. His growls are fucking insane, his lows are quite good. Just learn to enjoy both of them put together!!

I like some stuff from this band, a lot. But, I usually find myself pushing through the songs just waiting for the next clean vocal part. I almost think the band might do best to make the cleans the primary vocals, and only have the screaming when its actually effective. The clean vocalist's voice is just, so much stronger than anything else going on most of the time, in my opinion. 'Memories won't last forever, but I'll hold this in my heart.' - example of effective screaming part.
