Even though this is on the 'Sid Sings' record (effectively Sid live at Max's NYC), this was recorded at the Pistol's show in Ivanhoe's, Huddersfield on Xmas day 1977 - their final show in the U.K. Sid/Steve/Paul also did a version of 'Chinese Rocks' that day, something I would be very interested to hear. *Trivial Fact* Paul & Steve were very familiar with Thunders's material - both of them had played with Thunders on numerous occasions in late '77.

Great version by Sid Vicious! If Sid would have lived, do you think he would have been a Billy Idol type of Punk star? I'm sure Malcolm and Virgin Records would have tried to shape and mold his career towards a Punk Pop star that probably would have sold millions of records. Whether I agree or disagree, I think this would have happened.

@Wergbt Hey man, no one ever said the Johnny Thunders version was bad, they just gave their opinion. Honestly this is a terrible recording and if you listen to some of his better recorded songs, you'd find out he had a pretty good voice.
