This sucks. I am a fan of the Church and other awesome bands of the time and that sound but this?... It's shitty and sounds like a cheap lounge lizard immitation Burt Baccarat version that serves no purpose other than to try to ruin a good song.

Huge, huge fan of The Church, and other ethereal Post-Punk bands like The Chameleons, Drum Machine & The Bunnymen, Sad Loves & Giants, etc. But I have to say Sia really killed it on this rendition. It's very tasteful, and in the spirit of the original.

She wasn't "a Rihanna" up untill titanium was released to the radio. I've loved her voice ever since I heared it for the first time in Zero 7's "Simple Things" album I bought back in 2001 when I was only 14 y.o. I wasn't very happy, to say the least, when I first realized she had become, if only for a short period, one of those dance/house-hit-singers. Then again, she probably has to sustain herself somehow in this tough economy so who am I to judge.
