Also, wtf is up with the backup vocals in this karaoke version? They don't go with the flow of the song and aren't in the actual song. Plus, they make it hard for you to sing correctly with them there.

I have this CD. The lyrics in the pamphlet for the album in the front cover of the CD case say "she waved." So, to answer everyone's question, it's "she waved," not "it's shooting."

Btw, the "wave" goes for Haley, not for the comet. Read the lyrics more careful. I guess the "comet" is a symbol of revolution somehow. So Haley made her revolution (comet), then she waved (=goodbye).
