On 16th January 2013, Shelagh McDonald made her first official public appearance after more than 40 years away, as a guest of The False Beards at the Green Note, Camden, London.
Among a half hour set of previously unrecorded material, she also delighted with a reprise of her much loved version of the traditional song Let No Man Steal Your Thyme from her first album.

It's a shame she's so underrated. She's a genius, Stargazer (and the first too) is an incredible masterpiece. She has nothing less than joni mitchell. Hope more and more people will discover her in the future, she truly deserves it.10 years ago

The first song I ever heard of Shelagh's was "Liz's Song" on a compilation CD about 10 years ago. I've bought and enjoyed more stuff since and read about her and often wondered if she would re-appear and make more music. I'm glad she has. Beautiful! x12 years ago
