Shavuot is the day on which we mark the Revelation on Mount Sinai and the giving of the Torah to the people of Israel. For the first and only time in the history of mankind, the Creator of the world appeared, in order to hand down the Torah in the presence of six hundred thousand men, as well as women, children and the mixed multitude.

This momentous event took place on 6th Sivan, the day we celebrate Shavuot.

Thank you for this video, it's beautiful! Why 6th sivan is also important, the 50th day of counting the omer, was the day the Creator again met with men at beit ha mikdash, sending His pillar of fire which was split into tongues of flame alighting upon the disciples of Yahshua of Natzaret, anointing them to preach the wonderful salvation of the Lamb of God! Thousands of Jews, upon hearing the words spoken by these anointed men, believed and asked how they, too, could receive the baptism!
