This song is about romantic love period, however, I do appreciate that she used black couples in this video, b/c when it comes to black love, a lot of people don't think that it still exists. Black men have a bad rep (being perceived as deadbeats, even by black women!), so for me, as a black man it was a beautiful thing to see this video giving an ode to positive black love, showing that not every black couple has a deadbeat, abusive man or a angry nagging black woman. You know what I mean?
