I bought a used 616 and it came with a really rough feeling surface finish on the top. For some reason the satin finish on the top makes the surface feel dust ridden and it wouldnt go off no matter how clean it with a warm wet rag. The finish on the side n back is ok. The previous owner of the guitar did a bad job at preserving the finish. Any advice on fixing the issue? Hiw do u keep ur guitar finish smooth n clean st the same time? Is there a special polishing that needs to be done to fix it? or should i take it to a luthier? Please advice
