damn straight! you're so right! This is quite a resemblance! I thought I knew all/most Cameo songs, went through them in my head and didn't get your point... Most of all I have Known him since 1995 and never before heard Bas rip off, steel, or fake the funk. he's one of the most original funkateers I know... even when we where young unsigned, un-known players with part time telemarketing jobs we wouldn't play cover versions at our live shows..anyway, well spotted.
