I like electro, dubstep, heavy metal, progresive rock, orchestral music and jazz, not because I like one thing I have to dislike another... besides, there is no such thing as "unaltered normal music", music is always evolving, every new genre is an alteration of the music of its time, believe me, Jazz was considered not "normal unaltered music" during its time, some people even saw it as nonsensical noise just like some people see dubstep today

Nope...jazz is *not* what you thought it to be. And if it sounds "not catchy" to you, it's because *you* can't catch it. There's here another one who even considers this to be very simple. One of the greatest jazz musicians of all time (Louis Armstrong) once was quoted saying: "...if you have to ask what jazz is...don't mess with it!..."
