A great environmental song with a parody of two of Johnny Cash's hits "I Walk The Line" and "RIng of Fire."

RIP Jerry Nelson and Johnny Cash...just as Johnny Cash was a country legend, Jerry Nelson was a muppet legend.

@blazer88100 Should we teach little kids to be afraid to use anything then? We should not waste things, be we should also not be paranoid! The only way not for a person not to make any trash is not to live! So we have to have some trash.

I was going to start the day off with a Johnny Cash/June Carter Cash song, but then I found this Sesame Street parody.I can't pass up a muppet.

Ronnie Trash does rhyme with Johnny Cash. Definitely, trash is a waste!

Yes but he means too "Land of our birth." The earth is where were all were born.

On the contrary. Jerry Nelson has been performing on Sesame Street for thirty-nine years. He's more than a usual Muppet man, he's a Muppet performing legend.

Earth also means soil and ground.

Why do I have the feeling that whoever voiced Ronnie Trash isn't one of the usual Muppet men?

The newspaper hovering etherially at 1:17 is terrifying somehow... I think what irritates me is that half the crap Johnny Trash flings in the garbage bin can easily be recycled or composted! But then, I guess they didn't do no fancy city-slicker conservation out there on the range.
