Poster owns no copyright to music or video. Skidrow is a Canadian band from Newmarket Ontario who were in high school when this video was recorded. They appeared on Much Music and were interviewed by Sook-Yin Lee April 1st 1998 when this video was recorded. No April Fools joke, they've continued to produce good music with numerous other videos by the band being posted on Youtube, however this first video effort was notably absent. Digitized from VHS tape with slightly enhanced volume, the video begins with fans from the Much Music studio audience holding a placard affirming "Serial Joe Rocks". During the interview they took a call from one of their "fans", the principal of their school, Mr. Mainprize, who queried why only 1 of the members contacted him to obtain permission to be on nationwide TV. Serial Joe won the 1998 Much Music Video award for best independent video for Skidrow.

Good one Celeste, I wondered why he looked so familiar and after looking at both vids, I'm convinced you're right, although his demeanor in Superman's Dead is quite different from his Skidrow effort.

Sorry my sarcasm was wasted, The Beatles were and will always be the standard which other bands aspire to.

The Beatles never went anywhere, not sure what you're talking about. Paul McCartney sells out stadiums on a regular basis. They're there in spirit

Yes, it is. the song title is Skidrow, although Skidrow is also a bandname, just not this one.

I too was once a pre-teen, and a white kid, but we did Rolling Stones and Beatles covers. These guys at least wrote their own songs.

I played in a lot of bands that went nowhere, but we had fun, met other musicians and wrote a few songs. My take is that it's better to try and do something than criticize those who've made an honest effort. Losers provide criticism of others' honest efforts. I had a PhD thesis failed because of a spelling error in 180 pages (left there to test what passed for wisdom in Canadian Universities). Changing the channel is all I'd expect from you or my PhD committee, forget about changing the world.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Wow. This is so embarrassing. I remember seeing this on Much Music back in the day and my friend and I were like WTF is this crap? Then we started laughing and changed the channel because we couldn't take anymore. This so-called music had no business ever seeing the light of day. Their label at least smartened up and dropped them and nobody else was stupid enough to sign them. I'd rather listen to drunk karaoke than these losers.

Awesome song! Too bad the rest of their music wasn't as good as this.

This is what happens when a bored soccer mom wants to live vicariously through her kid. These kids were too young to understand what the hell was going on and in turn it reeks of the manufactured bull it is...- We booed them at one of their shows in the 90's and the mom happened to be standing next to us - she gave us an earfull of yelling lol. Lesson to parents - let your kids grow into their own - they have huge talent - and they don't need your 'help' to kill it

i remember seeing this band at edgefest when i was 14 and everyone was just booing them throwing bottles and hitting the drummer, it was pretty hillarious. some jibberish limp bizkit bullshit that faded into obscurity trying to ride of skateboardings popularity at the time.
