Such dark lyrics - isn't it funny how dark songs can make you feel better? I think it's because everyone experiences darkness and desperation at times in their life and sometimes it's so dark, that it's impossible to vocalize. Then, when you hear a song that describes how you feel - with melody - it allows you to get in touch with that emotion and go ahead and feel it. Instead of feeling frozen trying to handle so much pain, you melt and let the pain flow. And then you feel a little better. Does that make sense?9 years ago
