when i fist interpret a seether song on what i think its about, i often find out that wat i think its about is the opposite, The Gift is written about shauns daughter, rise above this was definantly about suicide, it wasnt about his brother it was dedicated to his brother. I love how Shaun never gives a straight forward answer and leaves it up to your own interpretation.
