Who established those ''guidelines'' and why do you care about what they say? It's not a matter of opinion, it's already established guidelines that are very simple & easy to follow. By saying I should agree with you while at the same time telling me not to follow the opinion of "everybody else" you are contradicting yourself when encouraging me to formulate my own opinion.
