I'd forgotten what an amazing album this was, the little moments; the intro to this song; the sweetness of the bridge. I listened to this album hundreds of thousands of times with my best friend in high school - a guy - it was "our" album (and I don't even have a "song" with my husband of over 10 years). He was a passionate Rush fan, this wasn't his kind of music at all. I'll be traveling 9,000 miles to see Rush this June and I haven't talked to this friend in years. But maybe he thought of me when he listened to this song as perhaps it wasn't lost on him how ironic it was for life to make us only friends when we shared so much.

I first heard this song about 10 years ago. Before Jimmy's brother Danny died, they went on tour together. Jimmy's sons Joshua and Lua played lead guitar and bass. Dan played Dash's parts and they all sang. I got to hear them play together in their living room before they went out on tour because I was good friends with Dan's son. I will never forget how lucky and privileged I was to hear and experience that. I've never heard music like that ever since. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

it's to bad music like this can't be made like this today. in a world full of bullshit, where all these losers steal everybody else's music and perverts it to however they want it to sound instead of reaching deep inside their own minds and souls & creating something new & refreshing, today's artists have no imagination. no song writing skills of their own. it's easier i guess to steal someone else's music and pervert it.
