Scotty, I love you. I really do. I voted a million times for you on idol. I don't have a problem with song. But this video rubs me the wrong way. Why are just cheerleaders southern belles? This could have been a cute video if it was a lot of different types of girls. Just something to think about. You might not even have had any or much control over how this video looked but I just wanted to give my opinion.

Scotty has got one of the best voices and you can tell he really loves REAL country music.So it's very sad his label gives him these horrible songs to sing. Just give him good country songs, not this pop mess with awful and childish lyrics.

I remember back almost five years ago now when Scotty was on American Idol. I voted for him every week and he was so young, and he had a sort of sincerity about him that was like a breath of fresh air. Everyone knew that he was pure country, but what he loved, at least, what he expressed in his song choices, was the roots of country music. Since then, I've listened to his album a few times, but I was never impressed. He's just doing what every other country music artist is doing. I'm not from the south, but for a while, during the time I liked Scotty, I would listen to a lot of country music. It was a lot of hit and miss, but I learned to love it. Now, every time I turn on the country music station, every song is about getting drunk or how good some girl looks in her "blue jeans." My god, he's fallen right into the trap. Scotty's music is not interesting anymore, it is not sincere, it has no message behind it, he's become the stereotypical country music singer. I had hoped for much more. And then to watch this music video, for a second there, I thought, "Oh, maybe they're going to focus on one of the band girls now." But no, the entire video was focused on these cheerleaders. It's sickening. Absolutely no depth at all, and I hate to say that, but it's true. I'm sorry, but I can truthfully say I'm not a Scotty fan anymore, and I'm sad that I ever was.
