Of course there were lots of brilliant over-20s singers, such as Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Adam Lambert, etc.but of all the teenagers who ever auditioned for American Idol, I think Scotty is hands-down the best. He has a low range unlike any other... it gives other low singers like myself confidence to see America embrace such amazing low pipes like he has. He uses his instrument better than all the other teenage auditionees I recall ever seeing for this show :)
