Love this.. Always have Loved Uli era Scorpions much more than the more popular 80's 90's stuff. Tokyo Tapes is it for me. I'll never forget the First time I heard that LP sitting w/ me friends and smoking some Bong hits in 1979.

Uli rules. So sweet with the hendricks like whamme runs. this stuff always puts me in a 70s/60s mindset, like putting on apocalypse now. for those of us who were just kids in the 60s, this stuff bridges back to that era.

After the '72 debut album "Lonesome Crow" still relatively experimentally turned out the direction of two years appeared later with the album "Fly to the rainbow" to be crystal clear: the then still relatively new Hard Rock, it should be, what was the right thing. "Drifting Sun" for me on this long-playing record is an outstanding song. Uli Jon Roth is not singing genius, but here it do not mind: with lots of power, it forms a pleasant contrast to the voice of Klaus Meine. Greetings from Germany
