Robert King now fronts Opium Kitchen and has just signed to Eromeda Records. The debut single was recorded this week in Manchester.

I just found "Horrorshow" / "Adultery" in its picture sleeve in my collection of old vinyl. I forgot how good the Scars were.

@dermot51 Trust issues. You can't work with people if you can't trust them. A sad waste of talent, but that is the nature of addiction.

Sad to say that Paul, Calumn & I have decided not to work with Robert any more, due to the usual old problem yet again. It's very disappointing - but predictable. RIP Scars. All of us are now involved in other music projects.

Music shows today are not so great...in fact, there are not many, come to think of it. Only Later with Jools Holland and even then, it's ok, but a bit...umm..'chummy' to be honest

@TheStoneysteve Gig will be so sweet, I only discovered scars about a year ago and was totally blown away such an under rated band but such a hidden gem. Shows how good their music is that it still attracts new fans 29years later. Cant wait till tomorrow.

Looking forward to 29th DEC 2010 when they will play a reunion gig in Edinburgh-a very under rated band

@rkingscar Hi, I came over from Paisley to see the band at Grangemouth Town Hall in about 1979. Fantastic night!!! One of my top ten bands ever. THANKS, EDDY COCHRANE.

I prefer this version. It sounds gloomier than the single version.

I had snails and frogs legs that night and even got a kiss from Annie - not my choice.
