Best song off Clayman, in my opinion.

If you think their new stuff is better than their old stuff..

..you definitely need your head checked. Ok, ok, they have had some good songs post-Clayman. I'm just saying that I think their newer stuff lacks the epic musical quality, and funnily enough, the clarity that old material had.

But whatever, form your own opinion.

Totally agree.Today - it's just another new-metal band, there's no magic in their music anymore :(

hands down best song, truly shows melodic creativity and would be awesome to come out to for a football game or soundtrack to a movie

That slide lick at the beginning and the sound effect on the guitarr is perfect, gives it a cool atmosphere, great song!

I remember buying the CD, coming home throwing it in the player... and being completely blown away. Musta listened the entire CD 4 times in a row. I remember thinking at the time that I couldnt remember the last time I heard a CD that was that good, front to back. Equal parts brutality, musicianship, melody - amazing songs, amazing band. I agree with Uberalex90 though - I much prefer their older stuff. Clayman and Colony are my favorites for sure. I stopped buying their stuff a few years ago... but I keep coming back to this album and Colony.

You know, they've changed so much over the years, but even their newest album, I can't hate it. I feel privileged to have been able to watch their evolution as a band over the past decade, almost two decades even.I feel like I'm fanboying too much, am I fanboying to much guys?

So I decided to look up some of their old stuff. I remembered this one as I was scrolling through youtube. From Embody the Invisible up to Take this Life you can see a vocal change as well as a musical change. Now fast forward to this year and it's like nothing I've heard from them. Not saying, that I'm not a fan of their new album. Hell I bought it and have been playing it out since Monday haha. Now mind you, I didn't get into them till Colony, and haven't heard majority of their albums in their entirety. Just a few that have come up on a few video games and Pandora. I really like the early death growls and shit but the melodic sound is what draws me in. One of the few bands that I really like and hope they keep making music for a long time...since I missed out on some of their early stuff haha.
