I really like Darkseed, Disarmonia Mundi and Scar Symmetry= Solution 45 alot as well. Those are all "mellodeath" but I hate sub genres too, it's getting out of hand.

You're probably right but I just call them that for simplicity's sake. I don't really get into the whole sub-sub genre thing. I'm glad to see they're getting more recognition though. Best band I've found since Kalmah way back when \m/

Idk if you've found them yet on Pandora but another good melodeath (as far as I'm concerned) band that's fucking awesome is Wretched. You should give them a try, they also have epic instrumentals too
