A great George Jones song, "Same Ole Me", performed by the best, Buddy "E" Emmons.

Pay close attention to Bobby Regot on drums. He is steady as a metronome.

that real quick palm muted rake arpeggiation before that phrase at 1:43 was such a nice little touch there...

The one and only.............my inspiration for decades; listening to him got me back into plating even after I broke my right hand in a bike accident. Thanks, Buddy for all you have done for steel guitarists through the years.

Not sure how to note this but at 0:45+ Buddy is distracted for a couple of seconds then the lead guitar fills in a couple of notes for Buddy, it seems to fit his humerous attitude to what appears to be an omission or error, by Buddy, I was standing next to him at a Ray Price dance when a similar sort of thing happenned, kinda of a "OOPs", we'll do better next time. To me at the time it was funny also bc few if any outside of the band probably even noticed. regards

Many of you have expressed disappointment in the volume of this video. I just listened to it again and it will blow my computers speakers away. I don't know what type of computer or speakers you have, but if you can't hear this video, then the problem is on your end YouTube Bill Ferguson

I have exactly the same gain issue, close to zero. all the other videos i have played have a reasonable gain. Set on maximum gain on MacBookPro. This recording is definitely way below the level it should be. A real shame as i would love to hear it properly. So Steel Picker could you please have another look at the recording level. Much appreciated Melvyn.

The sound is fine to me. A tad low but no biggie. I can really hear the George Jones in his playing.

No problem on my computer.the volume is set the normal setting. But,before I got additional speakers & a woofer for my laptop,I had to turn on the volume high as it would go.Maybe your computer could use them as well.

This is not an EMCI, it is his 68 Emmons "The Blade". The levers moving together is one way to tell it is an Emmons Original.. that's what they do. It looks weird because of the lighting, but it is The Blade.

@ Steel picker "I'm not sure why the F lever moves when it does." It does that because there is a Crwaford cluster on that knee. Jimmie designed them that way and they are so lose and smooth that all knee levers move when one is engaged
